What's News

• New Church Year Brings Big Changes - The new church year kicks off September 1, 2010, and we've got lots of changes to share with you.  First, our Nominating Committee selected new volunteers for many church roles.  Check the About Us page for details.  Next, we moved our missions groups to a quarterly schedule (to be announced) instead of a weekly schedule.  Children's choir remains on Sunday evenings during discipleship training, and we moved adult choir practice back to Sunday evenings as well.  Of course, not everything is on Sundays.  Due to the overwhelming response, we decided to continue Wednesday evening Bible studies in members' homes, except those Wednesdays set aside for business meetings.  Not sure when or where you need to be?  That's okay!  Check the events page for details.  We also post events on Facebook.

• CMC Continues to Grow - The Pleasant Grove Baptist Association's Christian Ministries Center in Brookwood has exceeded our wildest expectations.  So much so, that the center now opens an extra day each week.  The CMC operates every Monday and Thursday, except holidays, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  We are so pleased to support the CMC and offer a loving and helping hand to those in need in our communities.  For more information, click here.
